Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  Change order Items 1 and 4-8 were requested by the Code Enforcement Department to bring the building up to current codes.  Items 2 and 3 were requested by the Facilities Planning and Construction Department to complete all ceiling replacement in Building 2.  Contractor:  Bill Williams Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc.; Engineer:  KPI Engineering, Inc.      

Approve the change order.

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $9,369.84.  The substantial completion date is August 14, 2009.  Engineer fees will increase by $562.19  as a result of this Change Order.
